Prateek Gupta is a Head of Design with over 11 years of experience in UI/UX design and product innovation. He is a Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) and Certified Experience Analyst (CXA) from Human Factors International (HFI). With a strong background in end-to-end user experience design, he has crafted amazing digital experiences for e-learning, e-commerce, travel & hospitality, media & lifestyle industries. Prateek is an expert in User-Centred design, Persuasion engineering, Emotional design, Trust design, Omnichannel UX strategy and innovation, Minimalistic Visual design, Interaction design, Usability engineering, Wire-framing, and Prototypes. He uses a data-driven approach to create and see a zoom-in and zoom-out view of the user's ecosystem to identify major problems and new opportunities to simplify complex systems. He brings thought leadership of Product Management, Business Analysis, and UX Design with good exposure to front-end development. Currently, he is the Head of Design at PayU, where he is leading, innovating, and designing experiences for three consumer-banking products. In the past, Prateek has worked as a Senior UX Design Manager at Times Internet, where he was responsible for doing user research, data analysis, preparing UX strategies, wireframes, and visual designs for desktop and mobile websites, Android and iOS apps of five products. He also founded an e-commerce product “MensXP Shop” through mensxp media product research and did a revamp of Whatshot web and app. Prateek has also worked as a Lead UX Designer at OYO, where he was responsible for doing user research, data analysis, preparing UX strategies, wireframes, and visual designs for consumer-facing and supply-side products apps and websites. Prateek holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from Delhi University and has completed a Diploma in Web Designing and a Diploma in Graphic Designing from Arena Multimedia. He has also completed a Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) and a Certified Experience Analyst (CXA) from Human Factors International.
